Our Commitment to an Accessible Website
Southern Image is committed to making www.southernimageglass.com usable for as many people as possible, including visitors who rely on screen readers, keyboard navigation, screen magnification or voice control. We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium, as the standard we work toward.
Accessibility is an ongoing effort for a small, local business like ours. As we add photos, pages and features, we review them with accessibility in mind and correct problems as we find them.
How This Website Supports Accessibility
These features are built into the site to make it easier to read and navigate:
- A "skip to content" link so keyboard users can move past the menu on every page
- Visible focus outlines on links, buttons and form fields for keyboard navigation
- A consistent heading structure on each page so screen readers can move through the content
- Labels on every contact form field, with error messages shown next to the field that needs attention
- Animations that are reduced or turned off when your device asks for reduced motion
- Phone and email details written as links, so you can call or write with a single tap
Known Limitations and Third-Party Content
Some content on this website comes from other companies, and we do not control how it is built. This includes the Google map of our Brevard County service area, the customer reviews we display from Google, and the spam protection on our contact form. These tools may not fully meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA.
If you cannot use any of these features, contact us and we will give you the same information another way, such as by phone or email.
